Conversely, Denver Aluminum Trailer are more expensive upfront. But they require less overall maintenance. Steel trailers are cheaper upfront, but will cost more and maintenance in the long-term. This is mainly due to the fact that steel is more prone to corrosion and rust. And if you live in a snow or ocean environment the salt on the roads or from the ocean will only magnify that steel’s natural rust forming tendencies. The only maintenance that you may need to perform on your aluminum trailer is an acid wash every few years. This quickly and easily restores the aluminum to its original luster and shine and allows for a better resell value.
We know at Denver Aluminum Trailer that not only does steel rust and corrode, but it requires close vigilance to ensure that any minor scratches are painted before rust sets in. This not only wears away at the integrity of your trailer, but it wears away your investment. And if your trailer needs to be repaired, you’ll have to pay more for proper finish I will ensure that rust starts forming wherever the repair was made. This is especially true on joint and bolt mounts. So, even if you invest a bit more money at the beginning and by a guy with eyes or protected steel coating, you’ll still have to pay more for repairs and watch her Taylor’s coat closely. It is possible to buy a galvanized finish on your trailer, but this does not fully protect you from degradation.
Our goal at Denver Aluminum Trailer’s provide our customers with the best value in trailers. We feel it is our primary job to know what products will give you the best value. That does not always mean manufacturing the cheapest trailers on the market and selling the cheapest trailers at a low price. Although, we have been told countless times that Primo trailers have been the best price aluminum trailers in comparison to others around. We take pride in the fact that we can produce a quality aluminum trailer at an affordable price. We are happy to deliver the best value possible to our customers and to provide the best possible customer service. We also strive to continuously maintain the highest quality products the most affordable prices.
Additionally, you’ll save money on gas when you happen to not be carrying a load if you have a aluminum trailer. Our trailers weigh on average 10 to 15% less than steel trailers. This means that you’ll be able to haul more with an aluminum trailer versus a steel one. You’re essentially going to pay as much for steel trailer over the long run as you would pay for the aluminum trailer up front. Whichever trailer material you choose, keep your usage and long-term maintenance cost and mine. And with the resale value of aluminum trailers being somewhat higher, you’ll deftly what if you ever decide to sell it.

Denver Aluminum Trailer
We are here at Denver Aluminum Trailer have asked many contractors, roofers, and homeowners about what their first thoughts on a ladder rack should be. We got back the same three answers, plus more. The main three things that we found at the top of all of our clients lists are affordability, strength, and longevity. With the top three most important attributes and their feedback, we want production to make the perfect ladder rack for all of our clients.
We make two different models here at Denver Aluminum Trailer. The first model is designed for a flattop trailer. These racks have a piece of 90° angle aluminum at the bottom. This makes the rack fit snugly against the top of the trailer. Then, we also make our round top models. These have a piece of 1/4 inch thick flat aluminum on the bottom. This allows you to attach the rack to the top of your trailer. We also added 6 inches to these racks to make sure that they clear the bow of the roof. Our racks are all TIG welded making them not only stronger than any MIG welded rack, but also better looking.
Every rack piece from Denver Aluminum Trailer comes with two side pieces and one 1″ x 2″ x 8′ 6 inch aluminum tube. The center to can be cut to any with trailer. Each set comes with four stainless steel bolts, 16 stainless steel washers, for stainless steel nylon nuts, and eight stainless steel is self tapping screws. We design our racks to install quickly and easily. Each rack will only take about 15 minutes to install. And you don’t have to worry about anything fitting or not, we did the math so you don’t have to.
Every ladder rack on the market uses 1/8 inch or thinner aluminum. This simply would not work for what our customers wanted and what we wanted to make. We thought about using 1/4 inch, but due to the thickness, would just not work it out being clumsy or just too big. We found that 1/6 inch aluminum would be perfect. But, the problem is, that you cannot find this anywhere in the United States. However, we were not to let the lack of what we wanted to keep us from making the perfect ladder rack. So, we went a step further and bought a mold for our extrusion machine. Now, with this new mold, we can build a rack to meet the needs of any contractor, roofer, or home user. These newly designed racks can be adjusted to fit any size trailer from 2 feet to a half feet wide. Our rack supports 285 pounds each which is almost double the next best rack. Our racks do not just work for letters, we design needs to be able to carry scaffolding, canoes, kayaks, ladders, lumber, pipe, conduit, and much much more.
No matter what kind of trailer, ladder, or whatever needs you may have, we have you covered. And we are always more than happy to help.
